With the many crossover stories from Clamp, Mokona Larg Modoki is mainly a character in Xxxholic and appears a bit in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. Yuuko(Xxxholic) and Clow(Card Captor Sakura) created him along with a twin sister, Mokona Soel Modoki, the White Mokona of Tsubasa. They resemble the Mokona we know from Magic Knight Rayearth on purpose, because Yuuko and Clow based them on that Mokona. Of course they are not as powerful, and they abilities are mainly for transportation and communication.

In order to help the Syaoran and Sakura from Tsubasa, both Mokonas are awaken and split; the white one travels with Syaoran and the Black one stays with Yuuko. Through them, no matter where they are, Yuuko can communicate with Syaoran and his friends. Another difference with the original Mokona, is that Larg and Soel can talk which makes them even more funny

Watanuki at the end is the one that has to deal with Mokona the most. And as a good Mokona, Larg is a teaser that loves to jump around and of course adores to eat. He is also extremely sincere, and always speaks his mind out. He is also very proud and silly, which causes to shows himself around each time he can. Different from any other Mokona, Larg enjoys alcohol more than anything. And often we can see him being Yuuko’s “drinking buddy” Mokona is a great help tough. Often saves Watanuki from dangerous situations. And although mean with Watanuki sometimes, is a great companion. Larg also rides a giant bird with high ability, something than is extremely weird comparing their sizes. Mokona is also a good friend with Maru and Moro, and joins them to drive Watanuki crazy. Himawari seems to be very fond of him too, and thinks he is adorable. But that is nothing extraordinary, Larg is adorable for everyone.
